Our project manager, Nagesh Hegde, collecting the
British Expertise Innovation Award for the Barge-Mounted SWRO
Desalination Plant, Jeddah
Imbuing innovation and sustainability and tackling engineering
challenges are just a few of the reasons we have been awarded many
times over in the power sector and beyond.
One of our latest wins includes the
British Expertise Innovation Award
for design and project management during the delivery of the
world-first Barge-Mounted SWRO Desalination Plant, Jeddah.
The mobile reverse osmosis desalination plants were developed to
meet urgent needs for potable water supply in areas of water
scarcity in Jeddah. British Expertise is the leading private sector
organisation for the promotion of professional services from the
UK. Their awards recognise excellence in the design, planning,
management and construction of overseas projects.
Mott MacDonald also ranked 5th place in the UK’s Sunday Times ‘20
Best Big Companies to Work For’ Survey 2009, improving on last
year’s position by three places. We're the best placed consultancy
of our kind in the list.
We believe that it is through the expertise, dedication and
enthusiasm of our people that we are recognised as a world leading
power and environmental consultancy. To maintain our position as
our clients’ consultant of choice, we continually invest in our
people, which is why we're able to attract the best the industry
has to offer.
Our specialists have won, or been nominated for, many awards. For
example, Dr Ken Smith of our power systems analysis team won the
